About Us

If we've learned anything from the several lockdowns over the last couple of years, it's the importance family, friends and loved ones, and creating memories with each.

My two sons, my husband and myself were at home chatting about the great days we had together with our slightly crazy family, while confined to our home, unable to visit them or visit any of the amazing places on our bucket list.

We started talking about tangible ways to remember the great days we had, when we took great days for granted. Our two great loves are family and travel. The cogs began to turn and over a couple of weeks we came up with the idea of creating map art posters of the places that mean most to us.

My husband, who is a bit of a whiz on the computer, went away to his office and in just over a week sat us down and presented a beautiful maps of Antibes (France), Portofino (Italy) and Chicago. Three places that mean so much to us. I will never forget the feelings that seeing those pieces of art, brought to me and our two boys (normally not known for showing their emotions). To this day, I get a warm feeling when I pass the three posters in the hallway.

Of course, being slightly obsessive, that wasn't enough for my husband, he also came up with the idea of creating a piece of art from the night sky over a particular place on a specific date. He created a star map poster of the night  we met (27th July 1987) in the Minella Hotel, Clonmel, Co Tipperery, Ireland. My heart melted.

We decided to offer the opportunity for others to experience the feelings we did, by creating a website for anyone to create their own priceless pieces of art, associated with their most precious memories.
